Working Group 6 on Food Safety and Net Zero Carbon

This working group is reviewing possible implications for food safety from changes to achieve net zero carbon (NZC) on the food system (or that affect it). The review will focus on the coming decade.

The Science Council Working Group on Food Safety and Net Zero Carbon (WG6) was established in June 2021.

The final report of this review was published on the Science Council website on 18 May 2023.

Under the Science Council’s revised ways of working, all Council members contribute to the WG6 with the following fixed leadership team.
