Open invitation to the Science Council meeting on 24 June 2020

The Food Standards Agency’s independent Science Council is holding its seventh open meeting online on Wednesday 24th June 2020.


At this open meeting there will be:

  • an update on FSA Science (including work related to COVID-19);
  • agreement of the final report for Science Council Working Group 4 on data analysis and tools;
  • an update on progress of Science Council Working 5 on food hypersensitivity;
  • an update on development of the FSA Risk Communication Toolkit

Please note that the agenda may be subject to change at short notice.  The full agenda will be published closer to the date of the meeting.

Date and time: 10:00am Wednesday 24 June 2020.

This meeting will be held using online in a webinar format using Microsoft Teams Live Event.  

How to attend

Audience registration is free, but advance booking is necessary as numbers may be limited.  To book a place, email the Science Council secretariat.

The closing date for bookings is noon on Tuesday 23 June.

If you are unable to attend and have a question you want to pose to the Science Council about what is being discussed at this meeting, please email the Science Council secretariat.  We will try to answer all questions received during the meeting, but if time does not allow, we will respond afterwards via email.  Please note that while we welcome questions about the activities of the Science Council, we cannot answer questions on the FSA or FSA policy in general.
